Getting started

Wappuccino brings your WhatsApp number into GoHighLevel. In a few minutes you reply to customers from Conversations.

What you need

  • A GoHighLevel account (white-label works too, like app.squaddcrm.com).
  • The phone with the WhatsApp you want to link, close at hand.
  • Admin rights on the GoHighLevel account, to install the app and add numbers.

Wappuccino links a regular WhatsApp number the way WhatsApp Web does. It is not the official WhatsApp Business API: no templates to approve, but WhatsApp's rules apply. Read Warm-up and limits before messaging many people.

1. Install the app

  1. Open the install link: https://api.wappuccino.io/connect/install. It takes you to the GoHighLevel Marketplace.
  2. Pick the account where you want WhatsApp. Agencies can install it for the agency: it covers every account under it.
  3. Accept the permissions GoHighLevel asks for.

2. Open the panel

The Wappuccino panel opens inside your GoHighLevel account, from the Wappuccino item in the sub-account's left menu: no separate login. If you open it outside the CRM you see "Open the panel from your CRM".

Inside an account you find:

  • Numbers: the account's WhatsApp numbers, to link and manage.
  • Analytics: incoming and outgoing messages, conversations and reply rate.
  • Routing & queue: which number sends each message (admins only).
  • Settings: messages, groups, webhooks, email alert, API keys.

In the agency view you find Overview, Locations, Plan & Slots and Health. Choose the language (English or Italian) in Settings, under Appearance.

3. Link a number

In Numbers tap Add Number and scan the QR code with your phone. Full steps in Link a number.

4. Try it

  1. From another phone, send a WhatsApp message to the number you just linked.
  2. In GoHighLevel open Conversations: the chat is there, with the contact found by phone number or created.
  3. Reply from there. The reply reaches WhatsApp from your number, and you see when it is delivered and read.

Done. You can now use WhatsApp in workflows too.
